1) Tanto, 13 5/8 inches overall with an 8 inch blade, peaked hamon, a single wide fuller on each side and a copper habaki. The fittings are accented with polished bone at the mouth and tips, with iron bolsters on a lanyard hole in the tang. 2) "Last Ditch" tanto, 11 1/2 inches overall with a 6 7/8 inch machined blade set into a two-piece stamped and welded habaki, with hand-stitched cloth covers on the furniture and two mekugi. The tang is unsigned, blackened steel. Consignor notes attribute both tanto as being World War II kamikaze daggers.

Rating Definition:

1) Very good, with some mild spotting and wear on the blade, some cracks in the furniture, and mild handling marks overall. 2) Good. The blade shows some pitting around the habaki, along with some mild spotting, the furniture shows some dings and light cracks and the covers mild stains and lost stitching.
