The top of the barrel is marked "COGSWELL & HARRISON Ltd. LONDON". With a ramped, beaded blade front and three leaf (two folding, one standing) rear express sights. The receiver is unmarked with the serial number found on the inside of the floor plate. The underside of the barrel under the stock is also marked with the serial number, standard commercial British proofs and "MADE IN ENGLAND". The barrel is fitted with a sling swivel eye. With a long commercial Model 98 Mauser type action, blued bolt and polished extractor. The trigger guard, floor plate and trigger group housing are black painted aluminum. Mounted on a straight grain European walnut pistol grip stock with multi-point checkering at the forearm and grip, rear sling swivel eye and a solid recoil pad.

Very good with 85% plus original finish, a very small spot of cold blue on the underside of the barrel, evidence on light spotting and some very light edge wear at the muzzle. The wood is very good with light scratches scattered throughout, small indentations, lightly worn checkering in the grip and very nice color. Mechanically excellent.
