This shotgun was manufactured in 1967 and has nearly full coverage deep relief engraving on the receiver, trigger guard, safety and forearm hardware. The left side of the receiver shows five pheasants in a wooded field surrounded by floral scroll, the right side shows four ducks in a marshy area, the trigger guard shows two rabbits and the underside of the receiver shows two partridges in flight. The engravers signature "R.DEWIL" is found on the left side of the frame in the center towards the bottom edge. This example has a 30 inch vent rib barrel with a red bead front and white bead mid sights, is choked full/improved modified and has 2 3/4 inch chambers with ejectors. Mounted on a nicely figured, multi-point checkered, varnished walnut forearm and pistol grip stock with a vented Pachmayr White Line recoil pad. Length of pull is 13 3/4 inches.

Excellent with 95% original blue finish on the barrels remaining, showing small dings along the rib, scattered small nicks and scratches and a small scuff on the right side at the muzzle. The frame and trigger guard show light handling marks with some loss of the gold wash on the trigger. The wood is very good with the added recoil pad, small handling marks and a stripped lower screw hole on the pad. Mechanically excellent.
