Manufactured in 2003. With a single brass bead sight on the solid matte rib and standard makers markings on the left barrel. The model and gauge are marked on the right barrel as "280E 28 Ga". Features 2 3/4 inch chambers and improved cylinder/full chokes. The scalloped Greener crossbolt style action has been carefully game scene engraved with two partridge in a forest scene on the right side and two woodcock in a forest scene on the left. The game scenes are bordered with tight floral scroll. The left side is signed "FP" in the lower rear corner for Merkel engraver Felix Pabst. The underside, trigger guard, lever and upper tang all feature floral scroll engraving. Mounted on a nicely figured multi-point checkered splinter forearm and straight grip stock with a serrated plastic Merkel buttplate. Length of pull is 14 1/8 inches. Includes a green Merkel box numbered to the gun.

Near new with original finish showing only light handling marks. The stock is also excellent. Mechanically excellent. The box is very good with some small tears and general light storage marks.
