This is a beautiful matching pair of engraved Armas Garbi shotguns. These shotguns feature 28 inch barrels with a single bead sight on the solid concave matte rib. There is a simple engraving pattern around the breech end of the barrels with a gold inlaid "1" and "2" (B gun) on the top of the rib at the breech. The top of the right barrel near the breech is marked "ARMAS GARBI SPAIN" and "WILLIAM LARKIN MOORE & CO. WESTLAKE VILLAGE CA.MO 103-B" on the left barrel. Choked improved cylinder/modified, 2 3/4 inch chambers with ejectors. The frame, side locks, trigger guard, break lever and forearm hardware are extensively decorated with Purdey style rose and scroll engraving. Each side lock and the underside of the frame are marked "ARMAS GARBI". There is also a gold inlaid "1", ("2" on the B gun) on the break lever and on the forearm knuckle. The water table is marked with various Spanish proofmarks, as well as "20-70" on each side, and "G.A.", the Armas logo and the matching serial number on the left side. The matching serial number is also marked on the left barrel flat and "025" ("026 B gun) on the forearm wood. Hand detachable side locks, automatic tang mounted safety with gold "S" and articulated front trigger. The barrels are finished blue with a coin finish on the remaining metal surfaces. Mounted on a nicely figured multi-point checkered English walnut forearm and straight grip stock with teardrop flats, checkered bare butt and "R/J/B" inscribed gold initial oval. Length of pull is 14 1/2 inches. Drop at comb is 1 1/2 inches, at heel 2 1/4 inches, no cast on/off and 3/4 inch toe out. The pair comes with a leather bound takedown hardcase with leather corner protectors, handle and straps, and green felt lining with a Armas Garbi label affixed to the inside of the lid.

Near new with only light handling/storage marks. The case is excellent with some light scuffs on the exterior.
