With a single brass bead sight on the matte, solid rib. With 3 inch chambers and improved cylinder/modified chokes. The right barrel is marked with the model and caliber and the left has the GSI importer address. The coin finished, scalloped Greener crossbolt style action features side clips and detailed game scene engravings. With a pair of rabbits on the right side and a pair of birds on the left. The scenes are bordered by fine floral scroll engraving. The left side of the frame is signed "SP" in the lower front corner for Merkel Master Engraver Suzanne Petheo. The top, underside, break lever, trigger guard and tangs are similarly engraved. Fitted with a manual thumb safety, cocking indicators and double triggers. Mounted on a nicely figured multi-point checkered splinter forearm and straight grip stock with a serrated plastic Merkel buttplate. Length of pull is 14 3/8 inches. The box is numbered to the gun and includes papers.

Excellent with 99% original blue and coin finishes. The barrels show areas of spotting and some light pitting. The frame shows light handling marks. The wood is excellent with sharp checkering and some light handling marks. Mechanically excellent. The box is very good with some tears and general storage and handling marks.
