Description:

Manufactured by the firm of V. Charles Schilling of Suhl, the Bergmann was developed in the 1890s and 1900s and produced in limited numbers. Blade front and notch rear sights, with German "crown/crown/U" proofs, the Schilling "mountain man" logo on the right side of the frame, "PISTOLET/BERGMANN" on the magazine cover and "PATENT/BREVETE/S.G.D.G." on the left side of the frame ahead of the magazine well. A fiery nitre blue is present on the safety, and bright straw colors are on the other small parts. Fitted with a pair of checkered grips.

Rating Definition:

Excellent with 95% plus of the original blue finish showing a patch of brown patina on the rear grip strap, and a light scratch on the left side of the frame and some bright edge wear. 90% nitre blue and straw color is present on the small parts with some areas of bright gray and mild spotting. Grips are very fine with some dings and dark spots. Mechanically excellent.
