This is a WWII production Nazi P.08 Luger pistol that was manufactured by the Mauser factory in 1942. The chamber is dated "42" dated and it has the "byf" code, for the Mauser factory on the front toggle. The right side of the barrel extension has the double "Eagle/135" acceptance proofs followed by the "eagle/swastika" firing proof. It has the standard loaded and safe marked areas. The left rear side of the frame is properly marked "P.08". It has the all blued finish and is fitted with set of unnumbered, checkered walnut grips. It is complete with a WWII blued magazine and marked with the "fxo/eagle/37" on the left side with a unmarked black plastic base.

Excellent with 98% plus of the dark blue/black finish overall with only minor edge wear. The walnut grips are also in excellent condition with nice distinct checkering overall with only minor wear. Mechanically excellent.
