Manufactured circa 1954-1956. This particular example would be late in the aforementioned date. The barrel has the standard S&W and caliber markings, The left side of the top strap is marked "REVOLVER, LIGHTWEIGHT, M13" and the back strap is marked "PROPERTY OF U.S. AIR FORCE". The letter "P" is marked on the left side of the frame. The serial number is on the butt and the revolver lacks the U.S.A.F. property number and the Air Force grip medallions. Black anodized finish with a blued steel barrel, casehardened hammer and trigger and fitted with checkered walnut grips with silver S&W medallions.

Excellent. The revolver retains 95% original blue finish and 97% anodized finish showing some high edge wear and some thinning to a brown. The hammer and trigger retain 98% plus original case colors. The grips are also excellent with a few minor handling marks. Mechanically excellent.
