Description:

The receiver was manufactured in 1943. The barrel is marked "UNDERWOOD/12-43/flaming bomb" and with a "P" proof, with a first style barrel band, "S" two-leaf rear sight, flat bolt, stamped trigger guard, push-button safety, and an "AU" magazine catch. Low wood stock with a two-rivet handguard, "G.H.D./U.E.F. (crossed cannons) rectangular cartouche on the right side of the buttstock, "PU" inside the sling cut, oval oiler cut, and a checkered buttplate. Magazine not included.

Rating Definition:

Very fine with 70% of the original parkerized finish showing areas of brown patina, bright gray on the barrel and scattered light spotting and handling marks. The stock is fine with some light cracks visible near the buttplate. Mechanically excellent.
