Manufactured in Belgium in 1971. Ramped and hooded bead front sight and folding adjustable rear sight with the address and caliber markings on the sides of the barrel. The receiver shows fine interwoven scroll engraving on the sides, trigger guard and floor plate, with golden animals in a gold-bordered field scene on each side. The right side shows a small family of deer (buck, doe and fawn) moving through a lightly wooded prairie, and the left shows a similar family of antelope on the run through a field with hills in the background. The level of depth, detail and shading is right in line with what you would expect from Belgian masters, with the signature of "R.GRECO" in the lower right side of the antelope scene and "G MARECHAL" in an oval panel below. The stock is extra-fancy walnut, with carved scroll borders to the front and rear of the checkering and a black plastic "BROWNING" buttplate.

Excellent, with 99% plus original blue finish, showing minor handling marks overall. The engraving and gold are all in excellent form and condition. Stock is also excellent, with a few pressure dents, strong varnish, crisp carving and checkering and attractive grain and color. Mechanically excellent.
