Manufactured in 1914. Fixed sights, with the two line, two block Colt patents and address on the left side of the slide with the Rampant Colt behind the serrations and "MODEL OF 1911.U.S. ARMY." in serrifed letters on the right. The "WGP" (Penfield) inspected frame is marked "UNITED STATES PROPERTY" on the left side. Fitted with the long trigger, flat top rear sight, wide checkered hammer, short grip safety, checkered slide stop and thumb safety and flat mainspring housing with lanyard staple. Checkered hardwood grips with diamond patterns around the screws and Colt barrel with inline "P H" stamps on top of the chamber.

Fine as partially refinished (cold blue touch up present on front of slide and frame) showing 80% of the blue finish with patches of brown patina, bright edge wear, and scattered light dings and pressure dents. Grips are very good with sharp checkered with some dents and tiny chips. Mechanically excellent.
