A) U.S. Springfield M1 Garand Rifle

Description:

Manufactured circa November of 1941. Post front and adjustable peep rear sights, with a "SA" bolt, "S-A-11-41" barrel, "SA" operating rod, trigger housing, hammer and safety. Smooth pistol grip stock, with "P" stamped on the underside of the wrist, "S.A./G.H.S." and "crossed cannon" cartouches on the left, and a checkered steel buttplate.

Rating Definition:

Fine as Arsenal refurbished with 80% of the parkerized finish, showing areas of bright wear and scattered handling marks. The stock is very good as lightly cleaned and reoiled, with scattered dings and dark spots. Mechanically excellent.

Description:

Blade front and "S" marked 2-leaf rear sights, with an "11-43" Inland barrel, Type I "UI" barrel band, flat bolt, milled trigger guard, button safety and "W.I." magazine catch. High wood stock, with 2-rivet handguard, oval oiler cut, circled "P" on the underside of the grip, Ordnance cartouche on the right buttstock, "10" in the sling cut, and a green canvas sling.

Rating Definition:

Fine as restored with 80% of the parkerized finish, showing some mild handling marks and a few small areas of brown patina. The stock is good as cleaned with a thin crack forming in the handguard and scattered dents and dark spots. Mechanically excellent. Magazine not included.
