The barrel is marked "S.A./flaming bomb/7-12/A". With a fixed blade front sight with cover and fully adjustable rear ladder sight with the top volley notch. Standard milled trigger guard and floor plate. Mounted on an oil finished walnut "S" stock with a high wood handguard with the milled sighting channel and two recoil bolts. The left side of the stock is marked with a faint "RA" Raritan Arsenal marking and a faint boxed "J.F.C." cartouche as well as the circled "P" acceptance mark on the wrist. With a checkered steel buttplate with trap (empty).

Fine as arsenal refurbished with a mostly mottled gray/brown patina, scattered moderate pitting, general handling marks and some moderate spotting. The wood is fine as lightly sanded and oiled with visible though faint markings, scattered indentations and general handling marks throughout. Mechanically excellent.
