Description:

Manufactured in 1918. Fixed sights, with the two-block address/patent markings and Rampant Colt on the left side of the slide and "MODEL OF 1911. U.S. ARMY" on the right. "JMG" inspected frame, with "UNITED STATES PROPERTY" on the left side. Fitted with a long smooth trigger, flat top rear sight, checkered wide hammer, checkered slide stop and thumb safety, short grip safety, checkered diamond flat grips, and a "P/H" marked barrel.

Rating Definition:

Fine, with 40% of the original blue finish, showing areas of brown and gray patina, scattered spotting and mild handling marks. The grips are fair, with some dents and chipping concentrated on the right panel, which also shows a lighter color than the left panel. Mechanically excellent. Magazine not included.
