With a fixed bead on blade front and adjustable flip up rear notch sights on the barrel. The receiver features standard grade VI game scene engraving on the sides and top. With detailed floral scroll and punch dot borders around the scenes. The right side shows a wolf stalking a squirrel, the left is a dog chasing a rabbit, and the top has a bust of a retriever. All animals are selectively gold plated. Mounted on a nicely figured, multi-point checkered forearm and pistol grip stock with a blue steel serrated buttplate. Includes a Browning takedown case with a plaque on the inside of the lid reading "BROWNING COLLECTORS/10th Anniversary/.22 SHORT/76 OF 155/ASSOCIATION. Case includes keys. Also includes a cardboard shipping sleeve.

Excellent with 95% original blue and gold finish remaining, showing light handling marks, as well as an area of small dings, scratches, and nicks on the barrel. The wood is very good with small dings and indentations on the right side of the buttstock. Mechanically excellent. The case is very good with some loss of the brass finish on the latches and some light storage marks.
