According to factory records (fax copy included) this revolver was shipped out on 31 July 1911 to Von Lengerke and Detmold of New York City, with historian Roy Jinks being completely unambiguous in declaring this revolver a "true Bekeart Model", as opposed to a later 22/32 Hand Ejector. Produced at the request of San Francisco dealer Phil Bekeart, the Bekeart Model is a 22 LR revolver built on a 32 Hand Ejector frame, creating a fine target gun. This concept would also be applied to the 38/44 Hand Ejector, making the Bekeart the spiritual grandfather of the 357 Magnum revolver. Raised bead front and adjustable u-notch rear sights, with the two-line address on top of the barrel, caliber markings on the left, and the small trademark on the side of the 5-screw frame. Matching numbers are present on the barrel, cylinder and front strap, matching assembly numbers on the frame and crane, and the series number "668" on the extended medallion grips.

Excellent, with 90% of the original blue finish, showing some patches of brown and gray patina on the frame and mild handling marks overall. The grips are very good, with a few dings and scuffs. Mechanically excellent.
