The left side of the barrel is marked "CRUSADER CALIBER 45 COLT" in two-lines and "HIGH STANDARD E. HARTFORD CONN U.S.A." in two-lines. The serial number "45C022" matches a cased .44 Magnum Crusader in this auction. According to the included letter 500 were produced in .44 magnum and 500 in .45 Long Colt. Includes a hardwood presentation case with a red velvet fitted interior and a parts schematic.

Near new in case with only light handling marks and a faint cylinder drag line. The case is very good with a slightly askew lid, some light handling marks on the exterior and some contact wear on the lining.
