Manufactured in 1940. Adjustable blade and notch sights. The barrel is marked "COLT'S PT.F.A. MFG. CO. HARTFORD. CT. U.S.A ./PAT. DES. 110.887" on top and "MATCH/TARGET" on the left side. "THE WOODSMAN" is marked on the left side of the frame, and "COLT/AUTOMATIC/CAL. .22 LONG RIFLE" is on the slide next to the Rampant Colt. The two tone magazine bears the proper three-line marking and is concealed and protected by the "elephant ear" pattern extended checkered walnut grips with silver Colt medallions.

Excellent with 98% original blue finish remaining, some light handling marks and scattered light spotting. The grips are also excellent with a faint hairline crack on the right side near the trigger and general handling marks. Mechanically excellent.
