With standard markings on the barrel. This carbine has been engraved and gold inlaid by Master Engraver Ben Shostle. The steel forend cap features flourishes of leafy scroll engraving. The frame sides have been engraved with a deeply cut leafy acanthus scroll with inlaid gold wire accenting and a gold inlaid bust of a big horn sheep on the left side. The right side is signed "SHOSTLE" just over the pin, the signature has been incorporated into the leaf design. Mounted on a diamond pattern checkered forearm and multi-point checkered pistol grip stock with a hard rubber Winchester grip cap, inset sling swivel eye and checkered blue steel buttplate.

Very fine as custom embellished with 99% of the blue finish and some light handling and cycling marks. The wood is very fine as refinished with sharp checkering, a small scuff near the toe and light handling marks. Mechanically excellent.
