Manufactured without sights on the tapered barrel marked "H.L. GRISEL GUNMAKER/STURGIS, S.D." H.L. "Pete" Grisel was the co-founder of Dakota Arms and a founding member of the American Custom Gunmakers Guild. Built on a pre-64 Winchester controlled round feed action. The rifle features a full matte blue finish with a polished bolt body and follower. The action is mounted with a Leupold scope in swivel style rings. The pistol grip stock features sharp multi-point checkering at the forearm and grip with a skeletonized blue steel grip cap, inset sling swivels and a finely checkered blue steel buttplate.

Very fine as built by a Master Gunsmith with 99% of the blue and some scattered light handling marks. The wood is very good with crisp checkering and minimal handling marks. Mechanically excellent.
