This three barrel gun type is very popular in Europe where game preserve hunting is prevalent. Manufactured in 1975 with blue barrels, 2 3/4 inch chambers choked modified and full, over a rifled 30-06 barrel with matte top solid rib, front blade sight, pop-up rear sight for rifle use and sling swivels. Light scroll engraving along the edge of the barrels at the breech. The receiver is coin finish with double triggers, left side greener thumb safety and tang mounted barrel selector. The scalloped box lock action is engraved with forest scenes on the sides, a buck deer on the left and a stag on the right, with scrolls on the top and bottom, upper tang and trigger guard. Marked with the Sauer Arms logo on the bottom of the receiver. The fancy walnut forearm and pistol grip stock are fine line checkered with a vented Sauer recoil pad. Length of pull is 14 1/4 inches. Colt discontinued this line in 1985. A Rare Saver Model.

Excellent with 99% original finish, a very small area of thinning near the muzzle and light general handling marks. The wood is excellent with attractive grain, sharp checkering and some very light indentations on the buttstock. Mechanically excellent.
