Introduced in 1988. This is a rare two barrel set, as only a few early guns in this grade were offered, much less a set that is in mint condition in every way. Features a single brass bead front sight on a concave solid rib matte barrel with presentation grade checkered highly figured walnut. Hand carved fleur-de-lis flats and a pistol grip hand rubbed oil finish stock and semi-beavertail forearm, gold plated single selective trigger, tang safety and fully engraved skeletonized buttplate with fine checkering on the bare butt. Both barrels are 12 gauge and feature automatic ejectors, jeweled barrel flats and lugs, gold inlaid band around the breech end, with solid matte ribs marked as follows in script, "Parker Reproduction by WINCHESTER East Alton IL. U.S.A. Made in Japan". The 26 inch solid rib barrel is chambered for 2 3/4 inch shells, choked modified/improved cylinder. The 28 inch barrel is chambered for 2 3/4 inch shells, choked modified/full. The barrels, trigger guard and buttplate are blue with the remaining metal surfaces casehardened. The action features full engraved coverage of a floral scroll pattern and game scenes, showing two hunting dogs on the sides above "PARKER BROS" in gold and two hunting dog scenes on the underside. The floral scroll engraving extends to the break lever, trigger guard, tang, barrel breeches, forearm hardware, skeletonized buttplate and ornate carved three fold fences. "12-034" is marked in raised gold inlay on the lower tang. The trigger guard has a pair of diamond cut-outs and an engraved game bird. The tang safety lever is checkered with floral scroll engraving on the sides and the "SAFE" is gold inlaid. The pistol grip has a contrasting cap with metal insert. Length of pull 14 3/8 inches; drop at comb 1 1/2 inches; drop at heel 2 1/8 inches; cast on/cast off zero; toe out 1/2 inches; overall weight 6 lb, 15 oz. Complete in original Parker Reproduction green felt lined oak and leather takedown case with brass hardware and corner protectors, a canvas and leather protective zipper cover with a nickel plated oiler and two keys.
