Manufactured in 1915. This takedown variation of the Model 1895 has standard markings and features beaded blade and three leaf sights, smooth straight grip stock and forearm with ebony Schnabel tip insert and the uncommon checkered steel shotgun buttplate.

Very good as modified (extra holes tapped into side of receiver with filler screws added). 50% of the faded original blue finish remains on the balance. The receiver has a gray-brown patina with overall light pitting on the balance. There are patches of oxidation. The wood is very good with light scratches, a few dings and mild handling and storage wear. The action is excellent and the markings are crisp.
