The included Cody firearms Museum Records Office verification form confirms the carbine configuration and caliber. The carbine was shipped on September 6, 1905. Pinned blade front sight, ladder rear sight and saddle ring on the left side of the receiver with standard Winchester markings including the factory proof on the barrel (just ahead of the rear sight) and receiver (at the breech). Mounted with a smooth forearm and straight grip stock with carbine buttplate.

Very fine. The carbine retains 70% plus original blue finish showing thinning to a brown. The wood is fine with some minor pressure dents and scratches. Mechanically excellent.
