Manufactured between 1891 and 1911. This revolver features a unique factory half plate finish with a blue cylinder and barrel and nickel finished frame. The matching serial number is found on the butt, rear of the barrel, cylinder, and barrel latch. The barrel features the standard two-line address with "MODEL OF 91" in the center flaked by Maltese crosses. Fitted with a non-factory replacement pinned blade front sight and fixed rear notch sights. The grips are checkered hard rubber with embossed S&W monograms.

Fine with 50% of the original combination blue/nickel half plate finish overall. Displaying areas of edge wear, mild pitting, handling marks, small dings, and flaking nickel on the frame. The cylinder has a mostly brown patina except for the more protected flute areas. The grips are fair as repaired with visible cracks on the left panel and handling marks. Mechanically excellent.
