Type: Revolver
Gauge: 32 S&W
Barrel: 3 inch solid rib
Finish: nickel
Grip: hard rubber

Item Views: 2896

Class: Antique
Description:

The No. 1 1/2 Single Action (top break) was manufactured in 1878 to 1892 and was the replacement to the earlier tip-up No. 1 1/2 revolvers. The top break action is more reliable and has an extractor making reloading much easier. This excellent example has a round blade front sight, integral notch rear sight on the barrel latch, the address and patent markings in two lines on the rib, the 1875 and 1877 patents on the top strap, matching serial numbers throughout, strain screw in the front strap, and checkered hard rubber grips.

Rating Definition:

Excellent plus. 98% plus of the original finish remains. The wear is concentrated on the cylinder and consists of drag lines and some patches of oxidation. The grips are also excellent plus and have crisp checkering and minor marks. The action functions perfectly, and the markings are distinct.
