Manufactured in May of 1942 (Showa 17.5), with fixed sights, ribbed and knurled cocking knob, straw finished small parts and serrated grips. Numbers match on the frame, barrel trigger, bolt, cocking knob, grips (in pencil) and magazine. With a spare magazine and a brown leather clamshell holster bearing three small untranslated stamps (likely maker's marks) inside the flap. The holster was made in the early 1940s, still using the original solid leather retention strap though fitted with a firing pin pouch.

Excellent, with 97% plus original blue finish, showing some bright edge wear, light handling marks and a few minor scratches. 90% of the original straw finish is present on the small parts, with some mild wear and bright spots. The grips are very fine, with some dents and scuffs. The holster is fine, with some mild scuffs and areas of verdigris buildup. Mechanically excellent.
