This is a solid example of a WWII Mauser Banner Nazi Police Luger pistol dated 1939, with the "Eagle/C" Police acceptance proof on the right side of the barrel extension. This was the standard WWII Police issue Luger pistol manufactured by the Mauser factory from 1936-1942. The chamber is dated 1939, and it has the small Mauser Banner logo on the front toggle link. The left side of the barrel extension and breechblock are both correctly stamped with a single "Crown/U" commercial proof. It has the correct sear spring on top of the side plate that was only added to Police Lugers. It has the standard "GESICHERT" and "GELADEN" safe and loaded markings and fixed front and rear sights. It is fitted with a set of unnumbered checkered walnut grips. It has the all blued finish even on the smaller parts. It comes with one blued Haenel Schmeisser marked magazine that has been restamped "2132/Eagle C" on the aluminum base.

Fine with 80% plus of the original blue finish overall, with edge and high spot wear with blue loss on the grip strap mixed with a light brown patina. The grips are also in fine condition with nice distinct checkering on both sides showing light wear across the checkering mixed with some light nicks/pressure dents in the checkering. Mechanically excellent. A fine example of a 1939 Mauser Banner Nazi Police luger.
