Description:

Produced for the European commercial firearms market, approximately 3,000 Luger pistols were made in this configuration, with few seen in excellent condition on the collector market. Fixed sights, with the "DWM" monogram on the middle toggle link, "crown/B", "crown/U", and "crown/G" proofs, and "118,35" on the underside of the barrel ahead of the serial number. Note the absence of an American Eagle on the chamber or a "GERMANY" export mark. The lower safety position is polished bright, with nitre blue finished springs, pins and screws, straw finished small parts, checkered grips and a nickel finished magazine with an unmarked wood base.

Rating Definition:

Excellent, with 95% original blue finish, showing bright edge wear and a small amount of spotting and handling marks. The niter blue is strong in the protected areas, with a brown patina on the screws, and the straw components show over 80% of the original vibrant gold tone, with wear limited to the high points and edges. The grips are very fine, with some mild dings, and the magazine base shows some gouges and dents. Mechanically fine.
