Manufactured in the post-World War I Weimar Era, this Luger is fitted with a six inch long barrel marked "GERMANY" on the side and "crown/N" on the underside, combined with a standard fixed notch rear sight; the exact circumstances of the barrel are unknown, but some importers were known to perform special order barrels for clients. The extension is marked with a "crown/N" proof on the left side and a blank chamber, with the "DWM" monogram on the front toggle link and a "crown/N" proofed breechblock. The small parts are straw finished, with nitre blue pins and springs, checkered grips, and a nickel magazine with a "GERMANY" marked base. With a brown leather safety holster bearing the Audley patent dates and the Abercrombie & Fitch logo on the back with a nickel finished brass retainer inside the holster.

Very fine, with 95% of the period retailer blue finish, showing some light edge wear and scattered handling marks. Around 75% of the nitre blue and straw colors are present, with some wear on the high edges. The grips are very good, with sharp checkering, a tiny chip absent from the right panel near the magazine catch and a few dings and spots of verdigris. The holster is fine, with scuffs and shallow cracks appropriate to age and wear, though with good tension in the retention spring and supple leather. Mechanically excellent.
