This pistol has several unique features. The front bushing is knurled and screws off the slide allowing access to the recoil spring, this however does not allow the pistol to be field stripped. This is accomplished via a takedown lever positioned on the right side of the frame at the front of the trigger guard. Also unusual is that the left side of the slide has the standard "MOD III" model marking, but is striker fired with no external hammer like the Model IIIA pistol. Features fixed blade and notch sights, empty chamber indicator, push button magazine release, and checkered brown/black mottled grips.

Very fine with 95% plus restored blue finish. Displaying sharp edges, clear markings, light handling marks, scattered mild dings. The grips are excellent with light handling marks. The pistol may need some mechanical adjustments as the transfer bar does not seem to engage the sear.
