Introduced before WWII and produced through the German occupation. The right side of the frame, slide, and receiver are stamped with German army test proofs and the matching serial number 3268. These pistols were known to be used by the occupying German forces and though they are test proofed, they were not stamped with the usual acceptance stamps. Very similar to the Clement style pistols with fixed blade and frame notch rear sights, direct blowback design with the recoil spring above the barrel, bottom magazine release, and checkered "AG" monogrammed grips. Includes an unmarked brown leather holster.

Very fine. 75% plus of the original blue finish remains with areas of high point and edge wear, light scattered spotting, handling marks, small dings, and some thinning on the grip straps. The front sight blade has been filed down. The grips are very good with handling marks, well defined checkering, and some small chips and dings. Mechanically excellent. The holster is fine with tight stitching, scattered scuffs, mild age cracking, flexible leather, and verdigris at the metal fittings.
