Description:

Constructed from feldgrau wool, this tunic bears a set of enlisted man's shoulder boards, trimmed in pink with blue painted alloy buttons and Luftwaffe style blue/gray backing, a machine stitched Luftwaffe eagle with blue/gray backing on the right breast, (correctly stitched through the lining as is the case with three other known cases) and a blue and white "HERMANN GORING" cuff title on the right arm, properly stitched at the meeting point between the ends and also tucked into the seam of the tunic. The tunic is actually field worn though the others with same RB number, (stitching etc.) apparently came from a depot. The jacket was made up for others rank, as well as NCO's of the HG Division. The interior is lined with gray rayon, with the R.B. number on the bottom right inside pocket, size markings on the liner next to the buttons, and a set of four blue-gray painted belt suspension hooks running about the waistline. Size Markings: "4 141/94/70 69". R.B. Number: "0/0265/0028". Formerly of the Bob Johnson Collection.

Rating Definition:

Very fine, showing some light staining and handling marks overall. The eagle is stitched on through the lining as on all of these jackets. The is the rarest of the Hermann Goering Jackets and the most sought after.
