This is a WWII Nazi P.08 Luger pistol rig that was manufactured by the Mauser factory in 1942. The chamber is dated "42," and it has the "byf" code for the Mauser factory on the front toggle. The right side of the barrel extension has the double "Eagle/135" acceptance proofs followed by the "eagle/swastika" firing proof. It has the standard loaded and safe marked areas. The serial number is marked in the correct military style with the full number on the front of the frame, underside of the barrel, and left side of the barrel extension. The partial serial number "26" is found on various small parts. All visible numbers are matching with the exception of the magazine. The left rear side of the frame is properly marked "P.08". It has the all blued finish and is fitted with set of unnumbered, checkered walnut grips. It is complete with two late production blued magazines with the unmarked black plastic bases. This excellent example includes a black leather holster that is stamped on the back: "P08/JHZ/1942/Eagle WaA688". The holster includes a small takedown tool.

Very fine with 90% of the original blue finish and refinished grip straps. The grips are in very fine condition with nice sharp checkering overall. Mechanically excellent. The redyed holster is in very fine condition.
