The barrels are dated "8 62". The shotgun barrel has a 2 3/4 inch chamber and is choked full. The aluminum receiver features intricate game scene engraving of two ducks in a marsh on the right and a European deer in a forest scene on the left. The scenes are bordered with tight fancy scrollwork. Fitted with dual triggers, cocking indicators, and a tang mounted safety. Mounted on a multi-point checkered forearm and pistol grip stock with a horn trigger guard, grip cap with a silver initial plaque marked with a fancy "KB" monogram, raised shadowline cheekpiece, sling swivels, and a solid rubber recoil pad. Barrel and stock measurements are: bore diameter at 9 inches from breech .668 inches; wall thickness at 9 inches from breech .051 inches; drop at comb 1 5/8 inches; drop at heel 2 3/4 inches; 14 inch length of pull.

Very good with 85% plus original blue finish. Displaying mild handling marks, scattered light spotting, and minimal edge wear. The wood is very good with sharp checkering, handling marks, and a few scattered small indentations. Small wood chip (missing) on right side/lower tang. Mechanically excellent. The optics are very clear.
