Manufactured to be a faithful reproduction of the beloved Parker side by side shotgun, this example has standard floral scroll engraving with a dog on point on each side of the action and three pheasants in a field scene on the underside. The barrels have a single brass bead sight on the matte concave solid rib, improved modified/full chokes, and 2 3/4 inch chambers with ejectors. The barrel rib is inscribed "One of One Hundred for the N.S.F.L." in fancy script, and the left barrel is marked "Special Edition for/The National Sporting Fraternity Limited". It has blue barrels, buttplate and trigger guard and casehardened remaining parts. It is mounted on a very nicely figured multi-point checkered splinter forearm with engraved hardware and straight grip stock with teardrop flats, lightly engraved skeletonized buttplate and checkered bare butt, and gold initial oval engraved with a small hunting horn and deer head motif. It includes a Parker Reproduction leather takedown case with outer canvas cover, two nickel snap caps, and keys. Includes an extra 26 inch solid rib barrel set with 2 3/4 inch chambers and skeet 1/skeet 2 marked chokes. Excellent. 97% of the original finish remains with light handling marks on the barrels. The frame has 95% of the case colors remaining with some areas showing handling marks and a silver tone on the high points and upper tang. The wood is excellent with attractive grain, crisp checkering, and some small pressure dents on the buttstock. Mechanically excellent. The extra barrels are excellent. The case is excellent.
