Description:

Manufactured from 1931 to 1941. The revolver features a pinned barrel has the standard two-line address/patent marking on the top, "SMITH & WESSON" on the left side, and the caliber designation on the right side. Pinned King Patridge blade front and adjustable rear notch sights, with standard frame markings, casehardened checkered hammer and serrated trigger (both marked "REG. U.S. PAT. OFF."), serrated grip straps and fitted with checkered walnut grips featuring silver S&W medallions. The right grip panel is numbered to the gun.

Rating Definition:

Very fine overall. The revolver retains 94% of the original blue finish with minor scattered scratches, minor muzzle wear, and a faint cylinder drag line. The markings are strong and clear. The grips are very fine with minor scattered dings. The checkering is crisp. Mechanically excellent.
