Manufactured in 1978 with standard markings and features including the matching serial numbers. Fitted with Rampant Colt/Federal Eagle black checkered grips. 14,713 are estimated to have been produced in this configuration in Wilkerson's survey data discussed in "The Post-War Colt Single-Action Revolver, 1976-1986." Complete with the original Colt factory "wood grain" box that is hand numbered to the gun and papers.

Near new with only slight handling marks. The box is fair with corner and edge wear, and one end flap separated. Mechanically excellent.
