The included factory letter confirms the serial number, nickel finish, barrel length and shipment to R.S.R. Wholesale Guns Inc. of Rochester, New York, on November 5, 1982. The letter does not list the type of grips. Pinned ramp blade front and fully adjustable rear notch sights and fitted with checkered grips with inset gold Colt medallions. Includes a Colt "wood grain" box numbered to the gun and papers.

Excellent. 97% original nickel finish remains with small handling marks, dark rings on the cylinder face, and a faint cylinder drag line. The grips are also excellent with sharp checkering and light handling marks. Mechanically excellent. The box is very good with corner and edge wear, as well as general storage and handling marks.
