Only 25,000 Remington Model 1875 revolvers were manufactured and many saw hard use in the Old West. This example was clearly well taken care of over the years. Very fine. 85% plus of the unpolished original nickel plating remains. There is a flake below the cylinder on the left, a drag line on the cylinder, and some spots of dark brown patina and light spotting on the right side. The hammer has strong original case colors on the left and some slight pitting and gray patina on the right. The slightly undersize grips are also very fine and only have some slight chipping and wear on the lower edges. The markings are crisp, and the action functions excellently. The holster is very good and has only minor wear.
