Description:

This 1870s-1880s pistol has some small Belgian proofmarks but no maker's marks. The barrels are Damascus steel and have no sights. The scales are German silver and are engraved with floral patterns. Each barrel has a trigger that folds down on either side of the blade. The spear point blade is 4 inches long, and the pistol itself is 9 1/2 inches long with the blade open or 6 inches long with the blade closed.

Rating Definition:

Very good. The iron components have gray and brown patina and some light pitting. Damascus patterns remain visible on the barrels. The left barrel muzzle is dented inward. The dark lightly pitted blade has some chipping. The scales are very good and have crisp and attractive engraving patterns. It is mechanically fine.
