One of the largest inlays features a man on horseback engaging a charging lion (left side). Unbeknownst to the horseback rider is a stalking lion. The hunter becoming the prey. Other inlays show dogs and grotesque faces. The inlays flanking the back strap show a seahorse type figure with a man's face. The stock has a round butt with metal straps and applied classical faces and a lion's head on the bottom. The wooden ramrod has a floral engraved bone tip.
