Description:

Single bead sight on the British-proofed German silver barrel, with a smooth hammer and a folding trigger. Two blades are installed; the one on the left is a conventional 2 1/8" non-locking utility blade with the Unwin & Rodgers markings on the left ricasso, and the other is a 3 inch dagger point blade with a chisel-ground tip, "Self/Protector" foliate etching, and a steel spine lock. This lock back dagger is a highly unusual feature on an Unwin & Rodgers in addition to the scarcity of the etching. The main body is steel with German silver fittings. It has smooth horn grip scales secured with German silver pins, a pair of tweezers in the left grip, a small bullet mold in the right, and a storage compartment in the butt.

Rating Definition:

Fine with some spotting on the steel and light handling marks overall. The tip of the left blade is chipped, and the dagger blade may have been reground at the tip. The etching is very fine. The grips are very good with some small cracks on the right panel. Mechanically excellent.
