A) European Percussion Pistol

Description:

The frame has a scroll engraving with cross hatching engraved on the underside and a geometric line motif engraved on the folding trigger. There are no maker markings. A light engraving is featured on the hammer. The barrel has a "crown/A" proof. The frame has a Liege "ELG" proof and the serial number. The one piece grip is fluted with a leaf carving on the flats. The numbers "316" and "13" are stamped on the grip. The buttcap has a light engraving. The ebony case is lined in green velvet and contains a percussion cap container, ladle, a powder flask, bullet mold and brass oiler. The top of the lid has brass inlays.

Rating Definition:

Very good. The barrel retains half thinning period refurbished brown finish. The remaining surfaces have a left in the white bright appearance. The grip is excellent with a few minor handling marks. Mechanically excellent. The case is fine showing a number of minor handling/storage marks, couple chipped corners and some minor high spot wear to the lining.
