These pistols have the overall construction style of pistols used in Southeastern Europe, Western Asia, and North Africa during the 18th and early 19th centuries, areas primarily controlled by the Ottoman Empire. They would have been primarily used on horse back and have false ramrods since the regional preference was to carry separate ramrods with the other loading equipment where they were less likely to fall out. They have brass inlays and engraving on the barrels, blade front sights and dished rear sights, engraved locks, various engraved and cast designs on the brass furniture, no maker's marks, and floral carving and silver inlays on the full length stocks.

Good. The iron has gray and brown patina and some faint pitting, and the brass and silver have authentic aged patinas. The stock is repaired. There is a splice ahead of the lock at the upper edge of the forend and some minor marks and scratches. The carving, engraving, and inlaid designs are mostly clear but the side plate designs are partially smoothed. The lock functions fine.

Good. The lock and barrel have mottled gray and brown patina and faint pitting. The silver and brass have aged patinas. Most of the engraving, carving, and inlaid designs remain clear aside from the partially smooth side plate. The lock functions fine. The moderately worn stock is also good and has minor marks and scratches.
