The lower left barrel flat is marked "ACIER FONDU" (French for "foundry steel). The rear cylinder face is marked with a "star/G" proof and a Liege "ELG" proof. A relief floral scroll engraving mixed with geometric line patterns is featured on the frame sides, cylinder flats, trigger guard and rear barrel section. About 70% of the metal surfaces are engraved. A band of floral engraving is at the muzzle. Cross hatching is engraved on the grip straps while a wavy line and dot motif is engraved on the butt. A wavy vine-like motif is engraved on the recoil shield and loading gate. The sides of the hammer and trigger and the internal components exposed by a hinged side plate are jeweled. All nickel finish and fitted with a fully checkered grip.

Very fine as period embellished by a master engraver. The revolver retains 98% of the period retailer applied nickel finish with extremely limited and fine flaking. The grip is very fine showing a couple of minor scratches on the butt and overall crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent.
