Description:

The top strap is marked "DEANE ADAMS & DEANE/30 KING WILLIAM STREET LONDON." The frame has a double line border engraving with light floral accents. A Liege "ELG" proof is marked on the left side of the barrel lug. The serial number is marked on the cylinder and barrel. A loading lever is mounted on the left side. The butt has a lanyard ring, and the frame has a back strap hump. The revolver is fitted with checkered grips and fixed sights. The partitioned case is lined in green felt and contains a plain flask, combination tool, screwdriver and brass percussion cap container marked "CUTHBERT/LONDON".

Rating Definition:

Fine. The revolver retains 30% original blue finish with the balance a smooth brown patina. There is some minor pitting. The grips are fine with a few blemishes in the overall crisp checkering. Mechanically functions but the cylinder is loose. The modern relined case is good with a number of minor handling/storage marks and some high spot wear in the lining.
