Description:

Modeled after a Dresden cannon. The muzzle loading cannon is 21 1/2 inches long from the muzzle to knob with a 1 inch opening and touch hole. The carrying brackets are sculpted elephant heads. A large high relief coat of arms and 17/Z9 appears ahead of the touch hole. The carriage is wood with iron mounts and 11 inch wheels.

Rating Definition:

Fair. The cannon has an attractive patina overall. The wrapped carriage has crackled and chipped paint.
