Description:

The period scale model mortar sits on a circular brass carriage with a platform that is a spinning degree gauge, which allows the mortar to swing 180 degrees. The elevation of the mortar can also be adjusted. A plaque on the mortar reads, "-g.m. M.W.H.-/von J.M. Voith/Heidenheima Brenz." There is a touch hole and the muzzle has a 2 inch opening. It has a removable tamper. The carriage has detachable wheels.

Rating Definition:

Very fine. The mortar retains 90% of the green paint which shows some flaking. The circular carriage base shows a mixed patina with the wheels retaining 90% of the green patina.
